Science & Technical Details
Genesis Protocol is designed like a long‑running simulation: procedural generation + heuristics + model‑assisted systems. This page is a living write‑up of the approach and the direction of travel.
Character generation (today)
Heroes are generated by combining model output with deterministic rules and post-processing. The goal is: variety, stability, and consistency under edits.
NPC memory + personality (near future)
NPCs will accumulate episodic memories and update personality weights using the Big Five (OCEAN) model. Those traits influence dialogue tone, quest preferences, and long-term relationships.
Quest system (direction)
Quests are not just authored. They’ll be a blend of templates, world-state constraints, and agentic NPC goals—so quests change as NPCs change.
Worldbuilding (direction)
A planet is a shared substrate. Players will claim land, build, and terraform. The simulation will track changes over time and respond through ecology, economy, and social dynamics.
